The language of pride.

How can we recognize that we are using the language of pride? The root of every sin is the spirit of pride. What is the intention of the ego (pride)? Draw attention to your qualities or accomplishments without God.

Daily verse

The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. (Proverbs 8:13, KJV)

Daily reading

God does not like pride and arrogance because it is the greatest evil. Because we want to be please God, we like God, should not cherish pride and arrogance. Now, we will exclusively discuss the spirit of the language. There are several types of language; two of them are especially sinful, proud, or egotistic language. Such a language only draws attention to the person using it and diverts attention from God. When we use such language, we have the glory of God. We also know that all glory belongs to the Lord. Therefore, using such a language can not be good.

The Bible gives us to brag only about one, only with our Lord Jesus Christ. If we do not have Christ in our hearts, then all our bragging is a sin. The less confidence we have in ourselves, the more we will have in God. Vice versa. The cross is for all material things that have to be crucified. What God wants to use from us is to take our nothingness, our weaknesses, and turn them into strength, wisdom, and glory.

Through our weakness comes the expression of God’s power. When we are conscious of our vulnerabilities, we will constantly rely on His strength. Most importantly, when we see the results, we will know that God made them and not us. Discard all the things that people glorify and thank, and praise only God.

Share our work, share the love.
