Good 5 reasons why Jesus came to die and resurrect
Good 5 reasons why Jesus came to die and resurrect are:
- To clean all of our sins
- To reunite us with God the Father
- To show God’s love
- To remove all rituals about the Salvation before Him
Of course, there are a lot of other reasons why Jesus came to die. For example, to fulfill God’s will and plan. Also, to cure and heal people, to bring us joy, and to deliver us from the presence of evil. There are many reasons, and all of them are equally important. However, today we will go over these good 5 reasons why Jesus came to die and resurrect.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. Romans 5:9 KJV
Salvation should be the most important act in anyone’s life. For someone to be saved, he needs to be cleaned from every sin. In the Old Testament, the process of sanctification is the process of becoming good. The sanctification process involved sacrifices and sacrificial offerings. Thus it is written in the law of God. Jesus said I did not come to abolish the law but to fulfill it. That is why, in the New Testament, Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross is the ultimate and only necessary sacrifice for salvation. To have eternal life, we must be born again.
That is why Jesus came to Jesus to die and be resurrected. In my opinion, this is the first and perhaps the most significant reason.
Purification from sin
Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. Hebrews 13:12 KJV
Every sin that we commit is making us guilty before God. Absolutely every sin, no matter how small you may think it is, every sin make us guilty before God. However, the blood of Jesus frees us from every sin. His blood satisfies God’s righteousness so that our sins can be straightforwardly forgiven. The purification from sin is the second reason why Jesus came, die, spelled His blood, and resurrect. In my opinion, Jesus came to clean us from sin makes a list of good 5 reasons why Jesus came to die and resurrect. God will, with His Grace, by faith in Christ, free us from every sin. Also, He will free us from the guilt of sin.
Reunion with God the Father
Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken. Genesis 3:23, KJV
When sin entered the world, it separated people from God. No one who is sinful could come before the face of God. Thus, there was a curtain in the temples that separated the priest from the rest of the people. According to the story, the priest was bringing sacrifices. And he was cleaning herself from sin, with the blood, so that he could enter and serve God. If some sin was hidden from God, they would immediately die. When Jesus died on the cross, he tore curtains. Jesus has torn the veil, and there is no barrier between God. We can now enter the presence of God through Jesus Christ.
The third of good 5 reasons why did came to die and resurrect is removing that separator. It is over with the curtain or veil or screen, or whatever was separating us from God. His sacrifice has reconciled us with our Heavenly father.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16, KJV
God showed on the cross how much He loves. God showed his love on the cross on Golgotha. I see the love of God everywhere. I see God’s love in the face of a stranger, being kind and helpful to me, and reaching out a hand when I needed the most help. I see God’s love in the Church when the pastor or preacher talks about exactly what I am going through. I see His love in the faces of the people in my life. His love is all around us, just look.
Just like God loves us, He commanded us to love each other. I’ll agree it is hard to love some people. Try to see it deep inside yourself, and I am sure you will find it. Therefore, let us keep His commandment and love our neighbors. It is the fourth of the good 5 reasons why Jesus came to die and resurrect. However, keep in mind, the first or the fourth, of the good 5 reasons why Jesus came to die and resurrect, all of then are equally important.
To remove all rituals about the Salvation before Him
As he taught, Jesus said, “Watch out for the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and be greeted with respect in the marketplaces, Mark 12:38, KJV
The last of the good 5 reasons why Jesus came to die and resurrect is to remove all rituals about the Salvation that there was before Him. Jesus fulfilled the law. We are justified by faith alone. His love was fighting for me, even when I was against Him. He was working hard to win my soul when I was lost. Not because I did anything special, but because that is who He is. God is the truth. Jesus, as He said himself is the way, the truth, and the life. The one who died and resurrected to set you free.
